Rather than just learning to stand up, intermediate lessons focus on wave selection, paddling out past the breaking waves (to the "line-up"), and controlling your turns. Personalized Coaching: Instructors will typically tailor the class to your existing abilities and offer 1:1 guidance to help you read the waves effectively. Equipment: You will likely transition from large foam boards (used for beginners) to epoxy or fiberglass boards that offer more maneuverability. |
